He represents clients in both arbitration and litigation proceedings, with a focus on the successful resolution of complex cross-border disputes often involving sovereign states, multinational corporations and high-net-worth individuals. Dmitry predominantly focuses on commercial arbitration, as well as in construction disputes and bankruptcy.

• Representation of Kazakhstan in an investment arbitration initiated by a Russian investor under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules in relation to investments in cash and collateral under loan agreements for bioethanol and metallurgical silicon plants in Kazakhstan.
• Representation of Dekhkanabad Potash Plant, the sole potash fertilizer producer in Central Asia, in a number of cross-border disputes with its Russian contractor (undergoing bankruptcy), in connection with the construction of a potash plant in Uzbekistan.
• Representation of a Belarussian contractor in an SCC arbitration against Turkmenistan and its state concern regarding the construction of an ore fertiliser plant under a US$1 billion contract.
• Representation of a major social networking service in a range of disputes in Russian courts pertaining to defamation, personal data protection and compliance with regulatory framework applicable to social media.
• Representation of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan (on behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Russian Federation) in a dispute in the Commercial Court of the City of Moscow initiated by the commercial company on the basis of the investment agreement.
