Emin specializes in dispute resolution, corporate law, and various matters related to the law of the Astana International Financial Centre (“AIFC”).

His professional experience includes working at leading law firms in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as at a Big Four company, where he was involved in advising on complex cross-border projects and provided legal support on matters of corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and investment activities.

Emin represents clients in litigation and arbitration proceedings, including disputes before the International Arbitration Centre, and holds rights of audience before the AIFC Court. He also provides legal support on matters related to the establishment and operation of investment and venture funds, mergers and acquisitions transactions, and projects in the field of digital assets.

Dispute Resolution:
1) Participated in representing a private university in complex litigation, including developing procedural strategy and handling cases at the appellate level.
2) Participated in representing an investment fund in international arbitration administered by the AIFC International Arbitration Centre, in a dispute related to the financing of a technology project, including procedural support and development of legal position.

AIFC Law:
3) Advised on the establishment of a fund of funds in the AIFC jurisdiction with approximately USD 1 billion in assets under management, including fund structuring, analysis of applicable regulation, and preparation of key documentation.
4) Advised an international cryptocurrency exchange on establishing a presence in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including analysis of AIFC regulatory requirements and national legislation, as well as determination of the required licensing.

5) Participated in conducting legal due diligence of a major international distributor of alcoholic beverages in the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of a transaction for its sale to a foreign investor.
6) Advised on share purchase transactions involving joint stock companies in the over-the-counter market, including preparation of transaction documentation and analysis of applicable regulation.
